An amazing stay at Mejanell

I visited the Torre de Mejanell with my wife and inlaws as a gift to my Mother in Law, for a family weekend. 17 of us in all fitted comfortably in this beautifully refurbished medieval tower, located in the centre of Catalonia. The property was beautiful and clean, with great architecture, and points of interest throughout the house. We unfortunatley could only stay for 2 nights, as a weekend getaway, and even though the weather did not accompany us, the house was generous in size, and in warmth, to allow us all to enjoy ourselves, without being able to enjoy too much of the outdoors. The size was fantastic for families of small children, as it was big enough for the kids to play, but not big enough so that they could be too far away from the sight of their parents, or grandparents. The kitchen and dining área were spacious, and wee could all easily dine on the large table, and the property was fully equipped with modern White godos, and utilities. An extremely functional way to pass a few days with family and friends, while self catering, and getting away from the hussle and bussle that other family holiday locations offer. I will definitely be heading back here one day as this has wet my appetite to have brief family (or friends) getaways, in very comfortable and affordable premesis. The next time will be in the Spring, when hopefully the weather will improve and we will be able to venture to spacious grounds, and use the swimming pool.
I would reccomend this to anybody who is looking for a spacious, getaway from it all weekend or holiday.
